The present invention relates to a separation membrane for a lithium-sulfur battery in which a composite coating layer containing polydopamine is formed and a method for manufacturing the same, and more specifically, a composite coating layer containing polydopamine and a conductive material on one surface of the separation membrane. And a lithium-sulfur battery in which the occurrence of lithium polysulfide is suppressed. In the lithium-sulfur battery according to the present invention, not only does the porous structure of polydopamine adsorb lithium polysulfide springed out from the positive electrode to prevent springing and diffusion, but also provides electrical conductivity, and the reaction site of the positive electrode active material. Thus, the capacity and life characteristics of the battery are improved.
