PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge blanket type flocculation and precipitation apparatus and an operational method of the same where stable operation can be performed even when the water quality of raw water is varied and operation management is drastically simplified in comparison with a conventional sludge blanket type flocculation and precipitation apparatus.;SOLUTION: In a sludge blanket type flocculation and precipitation apparatus 1 including: a tank 10 made by being partitioned to a flocculation and precipitation chamber 14 for the flocculation and precipitation of floc and a concentration chamber 16 for the storage, concentration and discharge of floc with a partition plate 18 whose upper edge is positioned under a water level; and a pulsation generator 12 imparting pulsation to raw water in the tank, at least one of the strength of pulsation and the strength of agitation in a rapid agitation tank 50 when the rapid agitation tank 50 is disposed at the front stage of the tank 10 is controlled corresponding to the turbidity and temperature of the raw water.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
