PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing control unit where a user watching printing results can judge a cause of performing of bypass control, and further to provide a printing system and a control method of the printing control unit.SOLUTION: An interface board 3a applied with a printing control unit of the present invention comprises: a reception section 310 receiving printing data; and a printing control section 320 performing bypass control transmitting the printing data to a second printer different from a first printer when the first printer being an initial printing destination of printing data is in a state of not capable of printing. The printing control section 320 transmits the printing data and additional information including state information for causing the second printer to print a state of the first printer to the second printer when performing the bypass control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
