PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a basket for screen, which can maintain a quality of paper that is finally obtained without enlarging a screen device and is hard to be clogged.SOLUTION: A basket 20 is a cylindrical basket for screen and is installed in a storage tank of a screen device. The basket 20 comprises a member including a front step part 21, which is located on a papermaking raw material inlet side, and a rear step part 22, which is located on a papermaking raw material outlet side. Multiple slits 21a, through which the papermaking raw material passes, are formed on a peripheral side of either the front step part 21 or the rear step side 22 so as to extend in central axis direction of the basket. Multiple round holes 22a, through which the papermaking raw material passes, are formed on the peripheral side of either the front step part 21 or the rear step part 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
