PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote operation system for an industrial vehicle, a remote controller, a remote operation program for an industrial vehicle, and an industrial vehicle that can improve the operability in the remote control of the industrial vehicle.;SOLUTION: A remote operation system 10 for an industrial vehicle comprises a forklift 20 and a remote controller 30 for remote-controlling the forklift 20. The forklift 20 comprises a vehicle communication unit 28 and a running direction detector 27 for detecting the azimuth of the running direction. The remote controller 30 comprises a remote communication unit 33, a controller direction detector 35 for detecting the azimuth of the controller direction, a touch panel 34 for input operation, and a remote CPU 31 for setting the direction of input operation based on the input operation.
