PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a similarity level that is hard to be affected by patterns of images, and fits with a similarity level based on human intuition.SOLUTION: An image similarity level calculation device 10 comprises: an image acquisition unit 2 that acquires each image data on a plurality of images; and a similarity level calculation unit 3 that calculates a similarity level between two images on the basis of each image data on an input image Iacquired by the image acquisition unit, and a reference image I. The similarity level calculation unit 3 is configured to have: a hue transfer unit 31 that calculates an average and dispersion serving as an amount of characteristic regarding a hue about the two images, respectively, converts a pixel value of the input image I, using the average and dispersion of the input image Iand the reference image I, to create image data on a retouch image I|; and a hue comparison unit 32 that compares the hue, using the pixel value between the image data on the retouch image I|and the image data on the input image I, and calculates a similarity level between the two images.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
