PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical control type phased array antenna that is tolerant of environmental variation and that can eliminate a need for integration of an optical circuit.SOLUTION: An optical control type phased array antenna comprises: a plurality of optical modulators respectively performing optical modulation on each of a plurality of light rays by using an electric signal received by each of a plurality of element antennas configuring an array antenna; light ray division and emission means separating off a part of each of the plurality of light rays and emitting the remaining part into a space; space light Fourier transformation means performing space Fourier transformation of the plurality of emitted light rays; plural first light reception means respectively receiving light rays subjected to the space Fourier transformation depending on a position of this light ray, and converting them into electric signals; plural second light reception means respectively receiving the parts of the plurality of light rays divided by the light ray division and emission means and converting them into electric signals; and plural phase control means comparing phase differences between an electric signal oscillated by an oscillator with a plurality of electric signals received by the plural second light reception means, and controlling the phases of the plurality of light rays to be inputted to the optical modulators so as to cancel the phase differences.
