PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress influence on a power system, caused by increase in reactive power supplied to the system power supply side.SOLUTION: An isolated operation detector comprises: a frequency deviation derivation unit for deriving a frequency deviation of a power supply; a first reactive electric energy derivation unit for deriving first reactive electric energy to be used for detecting a power conversion unit's isolated operation, on the basis of the frequency deviation derived by the frequency deviation derivation unit; a reactive electric energy suppression unit for making the first reactive electric energy derived by the first reactive electric energy derivation unit be suppressed at timing after it is determined that an electric parameter on power output by the power supply satisfies an electric condition showing the possibility of the power conversion unit's isolated operation or timing after it is determined that the electric parameter satisfies a flicker condition; and a target reactive electric energy derivation unit for deriving target reactive electric energy to be output by the power conversion unit in order to detect isolated operation, on the basis of the first reactive electric energy derived by the first reactive electric energy derivation unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
