PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a variable directional property of spring property in a horizontal direction of a vibration proof device.SOLUTION: An upper rotating member 52 is arranged at a position corresponding to an upper end part of a support rod 31 at a lower surface of a load disc 29. The lower surface of the upper rotating member 52 acts as an upper cylindrical surface 53 bulged out downwardly. The upper end part of the support rod 31 is provided with a lower rotating member 52. The upper surface of the upper rotating member 52 is bulged out above it and becomes a lower side cylindrical surface 54 abutted against the upper cylindrical surface 53. The upper cylindrical surface 53 is constituted in such a way that it is rotatable in a horizontal direction in respect to the lower side cylindrical surface 54.
