PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing body stop device of an opening/closing device which can make a string-shaped member which is bridged between an opening/closing body and an immovable member pass a rotating guide member before the string-shaped member is wound by a winding reel.SOLUTION: When a shutter curtain 1 being an opening/closing body is closed, and abuts on an obstacle at movement, a lock wire 36 being a string-shaped member is mechanically connected to the curtain 1 by a mechanical connecting device which is arranged at the curtain 1, tension acts on the wire 36, a brake device of an opening/closing machine being a drive unit of the curtain 1 is thereby turned on by a slide of a slide member of an automatic closing device being a mechanical control device, the wire 36 passes a guide roller 29 being a rotating guide member before being wound to the winding reel 37, and the winding reel 37 and the guide roller 29 are arranged at the curtain 1 while a center position of the winding reel 37 in a thickness direction and a center position of the guide roller 29 in a thickness direction coincide with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
