"Use of (r) -ibuprofen methanesulfonamide and salts thereof in the treatment and prevention of rejection reactions to transplanted organs." The present invention relates to the use of (r) -ibuprofen methanesulfonamide for the preparation of medicaments for the treatment and prevention of functional injury resulting from transplanted organ rejection reactions. In particular, the use of non-toxic (r) -ibuprofen methanesulfonamide salts, such as the l-lysine salt, for the prevention and treatment of rejection reactions of transplanted kidneys is described.
