tandem footrest and mounting type vehicle supplied with it. a tandem footrest includes a bracket to be attached to a chassis frame. the support includes a flange extending within an outer cover disposed adjacent the support. The flange has a support section to support the inner side of the outer casing. In this case, because the flange supports an adjacent part of the outer cover on the tandem footrest, it is possible to ensure the stiffness of the outer cover on the adjacent part. Also, because the tandem footrest acts as a support for securing the outer cover, it is possible to reduce the number of components and thus reduce the manufacturing cost.
