Systems and methods for creating games and game-like applications are proposed, including the application of direct bets for forming a face-to-face bet between users. The system for generating and administering multiple direct bets includes a service interface of applications, multiple user interfaces, a bet application and many external information services to track the course of events and players' indicators during real events, such as sports events. A system and methods are also proposed that give the user the ability to change or modify the composition of a fantasy team of players during a real sports event that is currently taking place.
