The invention relates to a vaccine to protect piglets from diseases associated with the new pestivirus. The vaccine usually includes a pestiviral agent and, optionally, an adjuvant. The invention also relates to methods for protecting pigs from diseases associated with a pestivirus, including, but not limited to, congenital tremor, and to methods for producing a pestivirus vaccine.
