It comprises a helmet shell (2), a visor (1) and a lateral mechanism (10) for coupling the visor (1) to and removing it from the helmet shell (2). The visor coupling mechanism (10) comprises a base (20) coupled to the helmet shell (2) for receiving a portion (1 a) of the visor (1) such that it can be rotated to the helmet shell (2) for opening and closing a helmet shell front opening; an actuator (30) mounted to the base (20) such that it can be moved thereto and be arranged in a visor operating position in which the visor (1) is coupled to the helmet shell (2) and in a visor removable position in which the visor (1) can be removed from the helmet shell (2); a locking flange (35) formed in the actuator (30) for holding the visor (1) coupled to the helmet shell (2) in the visor operating position; and a guide member (40) coupled to the actuator (30) such that it can be moved to the actuator (30) and to the base (20).
