The invention relates to a fixed electric lighting installation for the dental esthetics field, intended to light a patient's dental zone while providing lighting characteristics similar to daylight. According to the invention, the installation comprises a swinging metallic body (1), such as a rectangular plate, fixed by a spherical articulation (2) onto a column (3) of the dental unit (4), at the patient's head level, the metallic body (1) having mounted thereon some lamps (5) with true colour rendering index of 97 Ra8 and colour temperature of 5300°K, and a black light lamp (6), an orifice being cut within the space between the lamps in order for it to allow the access of an objective lens and the fastening of a camera (8) connected to a computer (9) which is provided with a monitor (10) that is also fixed to the column (3) of the dental unit (4).
