A procedure for the removal of coherent deposits of diverse nature, both organic and inorganic, also overlapping, from works of art and / or wall paintings, characterized in that it comprises the following stages: a) the use of one or more non-spore-forming bacterial strains original, aerobic, selected from: Stenotrophomonas maltophilia UI3E DSM 27225, Cellulomonas sp.
