A stent (10) having a longitudinal dimension, a radial force that varies along the longitudinal dimension, and a plurality of interconnected winding bands (16), in which each winding band (16) comprises interconnected braces (18) by proximal turns (20) and distal turns (22), each winding band (16) having a tie angle, a number of pairs of struts and a wall thickness, the winding bands comprising a first winding band (16e, 16f; 16b) having a first radial force and a second winding band (16a, 16b, 16i, 16j; 16a) having a second radial force smaller than the first radial force, in which: the angle of the first winding band (16e, 16f; 16b) is smaller than the tie angle of the second winding band (16a, 16b, 16i, 16j; 16a); the number of tie pairs of the first winding band (16e, 16f; 16b) is greater than the number of tie pairs of the second winding band (16a, 16b, 16i, 16j; 16a); the wall thickness of the first winding band (16e, 16f; 16b) is greater than the wall thickness of the second winding band (16a, 16b, 16i, 16j; 16a), characterized in that the first winding bands (16e, 16f ; 16b) are a plurality of winding bands that form a central region of the stent (10), and the second winding bands (16a, 16b, 16i, 16j; 16a) are a plurality of winding bands that form a first extreme region (12 ) and a second end region (14) of the stent (10), the central region being placed between the first and second end regions (12, 14), the first and second end regions (12, 14) having a smaller radial force than the central region
