Provided is a composition for improving thenutritional status, reducing the frequency of fever,and/or increasing the immunocompetence of the elderly.The composition is one for improving the nutritionalstatus, reducing the frequency of fever, and/orincreasing the immunocompetence of the elderly andcomprises the following components (a) to (e): (a) anantioxidant agent; (b) at least one component selectedfrom the group consisting of vitamin B1, vitamin B2,vitamin B6, niacin, and pantothenic acid; (c) at leastone component selected from the group consisting of folicacid and vitamin B12; (d) zinc; and (e) selenium.
