A fairing for an aircraft horizontal stabilizer is made of two parts: a frontpart and arear part. The front part is the limited portion of the fairing that receivesa hot airstream coming from the aircraft engines; it is made to resist erosiondegradation.The rear part provides the dimensional configuration of the fairing; it ismade to resistthe aerodynamic loads existing on the fairing. The rear part is a singleunitary pieceenlarged in order to allow the front part to overlap the rear part. The frontpart andthe rear part are joined by rivets.
