A dry alarm valve assembly, for controlling a sprinklerfirefighting system, has a first inlet connected to apressurised air source, a second inlet connected to apressurised water source, an outlet connected to a networkof channels for supplying the sprinklers, and a valve thatopens/closes a flow of water from the second inlet to theoutlet; between the valve and the outlet there is a chambercommunicating with the first inlet through a firstpneumatic line, which includes a one-way valve; theassembly is provided with a blocking device to hold thevalve closed and provided with a second pneumatic line,which is connected to an actuator of the blocking device soas to operate such actuator by means of pressurised air.
