ARTICLE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND ARTICLE QUALITY MANAGEMENT METHOD

The present invention provides a system and method by which the quality of a plurality of articles having the same management code assigned can be managed while in distribution. Input devices (60) receive input of data of management codes of articles (11) at distribution sites of the articles (11), and transmit to a management device (50) the management code data, the date and time at which the management code data has been inputted, and data of the input site. The management device (50): derives, for all combinations of the management codes and the input sites among the data which has been transmitted from the input devices (60), lead data having the earliest input date and time; compares the input dates and times of the lead data for all combinations of any two different input sites, for each of the management codes among all of the management codes; treats article distribution routes from the input site having a late input date and time to the input site having an early input date and time as being non-existent; and derives, as candidates for article distribution routes, the combinations other than those for which no distribution route exists from among all combinations of any two different input sites.
