Provided are a photocatalyst electrode that has low electrical resistance, even if the surface area is increased, when a transparent conductor layer is used, an artificial photosynthesis module, and an artificial photosynthesis device. The photocatalyst electrode produces a gas by decomposing water by means of light, and comprises a substrate, a transparent conductor layer, a photocatalyst layer and a linear metal electrical conductor. The substrate, the transparent conductor layer, and the photocatalyst layer are laminated, in that order, and the linear metal electrical conductor is in contact with the transparent conductor layer. The artificial photosynthesis module is provided with an oxygen generating electrode for producing oxygen by decomposing water by means of light, and a hydrogen generating electrode for producing hydrogen by decomposing water by means of light, the oxygen generating electrode and the hydrogen generating generating electrode being arranged in series along the advancing direction of light. At least one of the oxygen generating electrode and the hydrogen generating electrode has the configuration of the abovementioned photocatalyst electrode. The artificial photosynthesis device has an artificial photosynthesis module, and circulates and uses water.
