The invention relates to a method for obtaining a nanocomposite material having a graphitised carbon matrix and metal nanoparticles by means of cycles of galvanostatic charge and discharge under the action of magnetic fields, and to the material thus obtained. This material has supercapacitative properties that improve the electrochemical activity thereof, and exhibits capacitance increases up to 600% greater than those obtained in the absence of the application of magnetic fields. This makes the material ideal for use in electrodes for batteries or supercondensers.
