A warning device for municipal road construction, comprising a device body (1) and a base (2), a light cover (3) being provided at the top of the device body (1), a warning light (4) being provided in the light cover (3); one side of the device body (1) is provided with a hook (5), and the other side of the device body (1) is fixedly mounted with a connecting chain (6); a storage battery (7) and a control device are mounted inside the device body (1), an alarm (8) being provided below the storage battery (7), a laser range finder (9) being provided below the alarm (8), a probe of the laser range finder (9) extending out of the outer side wall of the device body (1); fluorescent strips (10) and solar films (11) are alternately provided on the middle and lower parts of the outer surface of the device body (1); the base (2) is provided at the bottom of the device body (1), a control switch (12) being provided on the inner side wall of the base (2). The warning device can effectively warn pedestrians and drivers in driving vehicles in many aspects visually and aurally. A plurality of warning devices can also be connected together, not only effectively preventing the warning devices from falling down but also having a blocking function.
