The method comprises the following steps: acquiring warehouse goods change information in a predetermined period and current storage space utilization information of a warehouse, where the predetermined period is a period in the future starting from the current moment to a certain time in the future (S101); from the warehouse goods change information in the predetermined period, extracting goods identifiers of goods warehoused during the predetermined period and the quantity thereof (S102); determining, on the basis of the goods identifiers of the goods warehoused, inventory attribute parameters of the goods warehoused during the predetermined period (S103); with the inventory attribute parameters of the goods warehoused, the quantity of the goods warehoused, and the current storage space utilization information of the warehouse taken into account, determining, according to a predetermined rule, predetermined storage spaces in the warehouse for the goods warehoused in the predetermined period (S104). This effects systematic utilization of the storage capacity of the storage spaces in the warehouse on the basis of the warehouse goods change information so as to flexibly plan the storage spaces for the goods warehoused, thus achieving the effect of increased efficiency.
