The present invention relates to a chip collector unit for a tip dresser and, more particularly, to a chip collector unit for a tip dresser wherein the chip collector unit is configured to recover chips generated during a dressing operation while preventing the same from scattering outward, thereby preventing erroneous operations of peripheral devices and guaranteeing operation safety of workers, and the chip collector unit is configured to be simply installed and separated, thereby facilitating dressing and teaching operations with regard to various shapes of welding guns. To this end, the chip collector unit for a tip dresser comprises a scattering prevention plate mounted on one side of a processing bit of the tip dresser in a direction and a mounting bracket and a collector portion, which are mounted on the other side of the processing bit in the direction. The chip collector unit suctions chips using air ejected from an ejecting portion and suction force generated by a suctioning device, transfers the chips to a chip collecting portion, and processes the chips.
