The objective of the present invention is to provide a psychotherapy device with which it is possible for hidden negative feelings and automatic thoughts of which a subject is unaware to be understood with a high degree of accuracy, without placing a burden on the subject, and which can be implemented automatically with respect to therapies for alleviating or coping with problems of stress, or for promoting awareness and self development aimed at problem solving.This psychotherapy device is provided with: a solution means for implementing a therapy relating to the main complaint of a subject; and a result display means for displaying the effect of psychotherapy conducted using the solution means. The solution means extracts, as sensory image information, at least one of, a scene and a memory of an unpleasant situation brought to mind on the basis of the main complaint of the subject, and an unpleasant feeling and physical discomfort caused by the scene or memory, and then implements a therapy employing images, in accordance with the extracted sensory image information.
