Disclosed in the present disclosure are a resource reservation method and a determination method for an uplink control channel, a base station, and a terminal. The resource reservation method comprises: scheduling a downlink transmission channel resource for transmitting downlink information for the terminal; according to the downlink transmission channel resource, reserving a corresponding uplink control channel resource for the terminal; and receiving response information or other control information transmitted by the terminal through the uplink control channel resource. By means of the scheduled downlink transmission channel resource, the base station of the present disclosure reserves the corresponding uplink control channel resource for the terminal, so as to achieve scheduling and indication of the uplink transmission resource. When receiving the downlink information, the terminal feeds back the response information or other control information through the uplink control channel resource, so that the base station stops transmitting the downlink information repeatedly.
