An air-conditioning device equipped with: a compressor; an outdoor heat exchanger; an indoor heat exchanger; an electronic expansion valve; a bypass passage for connecting an intermediate compression chamber in which refrigerant in the process of being compressed by the compressor exists, and a low-pressure space in which refrigerant at a lower pressure than the refrigerant in the intermediate compression chamber exists; a bypass valve for opening/closing the bypass passage; and a control device for executing a superheating control for setting the degree of opening of the electronic expansion valve on the basis of the degree of superheating of the refrigerant. On the basis of the switching of the bypass valve from the closed state to the open state, the control device starts a restriction process wherein the degree of opening of the electronic expansion valve is corrected to a value that is smaller by a prescribed degree of opening θa than the value set in the superheating control.
