The present invention relates to a filter waveform designing method based on a GFDM system. The filter waveform designing method based on a GFDM system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: (a) setting a filter waveform vector; (b) calculating an information transmission rate; (c) calculating a maximizing condition of the information transmission rate from a power condition of a transmission signal; (d) calculating power spectral density and calculating a minimizing condition of the power spectral density; and (e) designing a filter waveform that satisfies the maximizing condition of the information transmission rate and the minimizing condition of the power spectral density. Therefore, the present invention can improve the information transmission rate and band efficiency.
