The present invention relates to an antimicrobial composition comprising an anemone as an active ingredient, and an antimicrobial active peptide from a body fluid of a sea anemone of a small sea beach provides a novel antimicrobial active peptide SAn1 having a high biological activity and a broad action range. Since the antimicrobial peptide SAn1 according to the present invention has a high antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive and negative strains, it has an advantage that it can be used as a leading substance and candidate substance in the development of new drugs in the pharmaceutical and biologic industries.
