The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for improving skin comprising a fermented extract of Ligusticum tenuissimum. The cosmetic composition comprising the fermented extract of the Ligusticum tenuissimum according to the present invention has no side effects when applied to skin by using safe natural materials, and can be usefully used as a cosmetic composition with fermentation of the Ligusticum tenuissimum through effects of reducing wrinkles, lightening skin and enhancing skin elasticity, which have not been confirmed in the Ligusticum tenuissimum.
