The present invention relates to an LNG regasification system and an LNG regasification method, and more specifically, to an LNG regasification system and an LNG regasification method, which do not store LNG in a recondenser or a suction drum but directly store LNG into a buffer part of a high pressure pump from an LNG storage tank, thereby easily securing net positive suction head (NPSH) of the high pressure pump. According to the present invention, the LNG regasification method comprises the steps of: storing LNG and BOG discharged from an LNG storage tank in a buffer part of a high pressure pump; pressurizing LNG stored in the buffer part; and regasifying the pressurized LNG, wherein the LNG discharged from the LNG storage tank is directly stored in the buffer part of the high pressure pump, the BOG discharged from the LNG storage tank is recondensed in the recondenser, and then, is not stored in the recondenser but is stored in the buffer part of the high pressure pump.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
