The present invention relates to a system for controlling an automatic guided vehicle (AGV) based on RFID. The system comprises: a plurality of tags; an AGV receiving position information of a plurality of tags by communicating with the plurality of tags and transmitting the received position information and status information; and a server setting an optimized movement route of the AGV when starting and ending points of the AGV are determined.
