A database of tourist information providing content is built by applying a systematic classification system and an evaluation item to propose an effective scheme for linking and utilizing tourist information. More specifically, an information infrastructure building scheme for establishing a base for the future tourism industry is provided. The tourist information database built through digitalizing the knowledge and information related to tourism sectors and using the hardware aspect of the information and communication sectors can be utilized based on the one-source multi-use (OSMU) scheme which can be utilized for various digital convergence fields including multimedia, telematics, and portable media player (PMP) fields. The database is built to be linked to a search program, has a customized travel application immediately applied thereto, and enables direct utilization to provide a convenient usage environment system as well as enabling consumers to make travel plans by easily and quickly analyzing and determining target tourist destinations.
