The present invention relates to a portable ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus and system operating in a low power mode, and an operation method using the portable ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus. According to the present invention, the portable ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus operating in the low power mode comprises: an ultrasonic probe receiving an ultrasonic echo signal reflected from a subject after transmitting the ultrasonic signal to the subject; an ultrasound image generating unit generating ultrasound image data corresponding to the ultrasound echo signal received by the ultrasound probe and transmitting the generated ultrasound image data to a display device; a power supply unit including a battery for charging and discharging electric power, and supplying electric power for driving the ultrasound image generating unit by using the electric power charged in the battery; and a touch sensing unit sensing whether the ultrasound probe is in contact with the subject, and transmitting a sensing signal according to whether the object is in contact with the subject to the ultrasound image generating unit. The ultrasound image generating unit may control at least one of a data generation operation and a data transmission operation for an ultrasound image according to the sensing signal received from the touch sensing unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
