The present invention relates to a primer specific to Pseudomonas syringae, which is the phytopathogen of tomatoes, and a Pseudomonas syringae detection method using the same. According to the present invention, the primer set can specifically detect the Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato LMG5093 strains as well as Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato DC3000 and Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato OH314 in the same varieties. The primer can be used as a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) primer with system-specific detection capabilities against the Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato LMG5093 as well as being applied to the qualitative and quantitative analysis Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato in the soil as well as the concentration change thereof.
