The present invention relates to a generation system for sodium hypochlorite based on control of temperature of liquid type sodium hypochlorite and prevention of reverse flow of sodium. According to the present invention, the generation system for sodium hypochlorite includes: a brine tank storing salt inside; a softener in which supplied water is supplied from an outer water supply and the softener forms soft water by softening the supplied water; a salt water diluting device diluting the salinity of salt water flowing inside; a soft water supply unit supplying the salt water from the brine tank to the salt water diluting device and supplying the salt water to the salt water diluting device at same time; an electrolytic cell changing the soft water flowing inside from the softener and the salt water diluted by the salt water diluting device to sodium hypochlorite by performing electrolysis on the soft water and the salt water; a reducing valve controlling pressure of the soft water discharged from the softener; a sodium hypochlorite generation controller controlling low voltage/high current DC supply used in the electrolytic cell and managing and monitoring the generation of sodium hypochlorite; and a salt water supply unit supplying salt water from the brine tank to the salt water diluting device. The generation system for sodium hypochlorite also includes a liquid type sodium hypochlorite temperature controlling device. According to the present invention, the generation system for sodium hypochlorite can fixedly maintain input of the sodium hypochlorite by preventing degradation of concentration by controlling the temperature to maintain an optimal temperature of the liquid sodium hypochlorite since the concentration is changed due to the temperature of the produced liquid sodium hypochlorite and generation of a carcinogen.
