The present invention relates to a waterproofing apparatus and a method for repairing an expansion joint of a bridge structure capable of preventing water leak generated at an expansion joint part from permeating a concrete structure of a bridge. The waterproofing method comprises: a first process of forming a coupling groove (110) in a column (10) or slabs (11, 12) of a bridge structure; a second process of coating the coupling grooves (110, 111, 111-1) of the column (10) or the slabs (11, 12) with an adhesive (120); a third process of inserting and joining a waterproof joining device (100) and/or a relative waterproof joining device (101) into the coupling groove (110) of the column (10) on which the adhesive (20) is coated or the coupling grooves (111, 111-1) of the slabs (11, 12); a fourth process of inserting a waterproofing bar (200) into the waterproof joining device (100) and/or the relative waterproof joining device (101) and joining to the column (10) or the slabs (11, 11-1); and a fifth process of forming a waterproof agent (300) at the waterproofing bar (200) joined to the column (10) or forming a waterproof agent (300) to the relative waterproof joining device (101).
