The present invention relates to a backpack type temperature keeping apparatus that includes a shoulder strip in the temperature keeping apparatus that cools or heats a target such that a user may move while carrying the temperature keeping apparatus and includes a cooling and heating device to cool the target in the interior thereof. The present invention includes: a body, an upper side of which is opened such that a storage space is formed in the interior thereof, formed of a temperature keeping material, and having a shoulder strip such that a user may shoulder a temperature keeping apparatus; a cooling/heating part spaced from the bottom of the interior of the body by a specific height such that a refrigerator pipe or a heating wire is formed in the interior thereof; a drainage part formed on the upper side of the cooling/heating part such that the water generated when a target stored in the storage space of the body is drained and having a plurality of drain passages on an upper surface thereof such that the water is drained to a drain hole formed on a rear or side surface of the body; a storage part coupled to a space formed between the cooling/heating part and the body through an inlet formed on the side or rear surface of the body and in which a cooling member or a heating member that may cool or heat the target stored in the storage space of the body is stored; a cap part covering an upper surface of the storage part, configured to prevent the cooling/heating party from being damaged by the cooling member or the heating member stored in the storage part, and having a plurality of exhaust holes on a front surface thereof; and a cover coupled to the body while covering an opening of the body and provided with a battery, a control member, and a connecting body in the interior thereof to operate the cooling/heating part; and a heat radiating part formed on the side or rear surface of the body to radiate heat during a cooling operation of the cooling/heating part.
