The present invention relates to a method for processing carbonized wood which manufacture carbonized wood having a natural texture by carbonizing various woods to have high hardness and not changed depending on weather and climate, and controlling the direction of flame throwing to uniformly carbonize the entire surface of the wood, and to an apparatus for processing carbonized wood. The apparatus for processing carbonized wood comprises: Support rollers installed on both sides of the entrance, the center, and the exit so as to movably support the wood; two pairs of convey rollers installed between the support rollers and driven according to the operation of a bi-directional rotation motor to convey the wood; and a housing having a through hole through which the wood passes, and a plurality of gas torches for heating and carbonizing the wood are installed.
