The invention relates to the production of steel couplings for connecting GRP pipes from reinforced thermoset polymers. The claimed steel coupling for connecting GRP pipes from reinforced thermosetting polymers under microtunneling and for joining pipes during relining of pipelines comprises a streamlined body made of a stainless steel strip with a welded seam and rolled edges and has a small cross-section that is completely hidden in the bore of the pipe under the coupling; and also by gluing the profile from the elastomer along the inner perimeter, with the help of waterproof glue, the sealing rings of the coupling are formed, ensuring tightness. The technical result consists in realizing the possibility, when using connecting steel couplings, when relining (rehabilitating) existing pipelines to lay new pipes of a larger diameter in the existing pipeline than with conventional couplings. 1 yl.
