The useful model refers to the field of study of sea surface dynamics. A compact buoy for measuring the statistical characteristics of short surface waves on the sea surface has a waterproof case, a three-axis acceleration and angular velocity sensor, a three-axis magnetometer, a power unit, a control unit, a transmitter with an antenna, and has a cylindrical body with a height significantly smaller than the base, namely diameter 20 and a height of 3 cm. The technical result is a measurement in the short-wave region of the sea wave spectrum. 1 yl.
