Key words: compressor unit, production of liquefied natural gas (LNG), multiple compressor multiplier, propane compressor, mixed refrigerant compressor.;The invention relates to the gas industry, mainly to the compressor units of LNG plants.;In the practice of designing and operating compressor units of LNG plants, the propane compressor, the low-pressure mixed-pressure compressor and the high-pressure mixed-pressure compressor are connected in series to the drive motor in a single line.;At the same time, the efficiency of rigidly connected compressors with the same speed of rotation is not high enough, there is a large length of the shafting of the compressor unit and limited reliability and maintainability.;A more effective solution is the installation of a multi-shaft multiplier in the compressor unit, a drive gas turbine is connected to the input and a propane compressor, a low-pressure mixed-pressure compressor and a high-pressure mixed-pressure compressor are connected in parallel.;Due to the application of this technical solution, rigid communication between compressors is eliminated, and it is possible to operate them autonomously with different rotational speeds, the length of the shaft of the compressor unit is significantly reduced (more than 2 times), and its reliability and maintainability are thereby increased.
