FIELD: oil and gas industry.;SUBSTANCE: system for deep-sea mining of mineral resources comprises a process platform for processing the substance, the riser line for creating an upward flow of extracted substance from the bottom of water body to the process platform, a return pipe for creating return flow of sea water mixture therein and not representing no value of substance portion passing through the process platform in the direction of water body bottom, and a system for controlling the flow rate of the deep-sea mineral mining. The flow control system for the return pipe comprises means for measuring the internal pressure of the return pipe for transmitting the pressure signal in the return pipe and the pressure control means for controlling the flow rate in the return pipe. An upward flow of non-valuable substance is created in the riser line passing from bottom of water body to the process platform. The material is processed on the process platform to produce a substance representing a valuable and non-valuable portion of the substance. The return flow in the return pipe is created from the mixture of sea water and the non-valuable portion of substance passing from the process platform towards the bottom of the water body. The pressure in the return pipe is controlled for preventing destruction or cavitation in the upper part of the return pipe.;EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of the method of deep-sea mining of mineral resources.;12 cl, 1 dwg
