The invention relates to an overvoltage protection arrangement having a plurality of disc-shaped varistors arranged on a first side of an n-sided support plate, at least one gas discharge tube and at least one thermal fuse or thermal separation device, which is in close thermal contact with at least one of the varistors, wherein the aforementioned components of Surrounding an outer housing and further provided on the second side of the support plate means for electrical connection for soldering on a circuit board. According to the invention, the varistors have a parallel package arrangement, which is delimited on two opposite sides by a respective insulating partition which can be placed on the carrier plate. Each partition wall has at least one opening for a varistor connection, which in each case is connected to a thermal cut-off device, which in turn comprises a spring-loaded disconnecting lever, wherein the respective disconnecting lever is connected at its first end to the respective varistor connection by a solder and at its second end goes into one of the electrical connections and in this respect penetrates the carrier plate. The thermal separator also has an insulating slider whose free end acts on the disconnect lever, wherein the slider is guided in formations of the respective partition and a change in position of the slider by means of a viewing port or a window in the outer housing can be seen.
