Remote control and certification process for the sterilization process of instruments or the like in a medical practice, preferably a dental practice, comprising: - At least one or more sterilization devices such as an autoclave (4) or the like; - where appropriate, at least one or more devices (2) for carrying out preventative treatment steps for the instruments; characterized in that, the method comprises the following steps: - Clear identification of the individual sterilization devices (4) and pretreatment devices (2); - acquiring data on the operating states of the devices in the sequence of steps required to carry out the work cycle of each device and optionally the partial or total times for performing the work cycles; Processing the data in a centralized manner to allow a human operator to visualize the correct execution of the operational steps of the treatment cycles of the individual devices.
