A stem cell production system for producing somatic cell stem cells comprises: one or more closed generation devices configured to generate somatic cell stem cells; one or more driver devices configured to be connected to the generating device (s) and to drive the generating device (s) such that the generating device (s) are maintained in an environment suitable for generating stem cells is; one or more cryopreservation apparatus (s) configured to cryopreserve the generated stem cells; a first storage device configured to store somatic cells in the generating device (s) as a first state; a second storage device configured to store the generating device (s) connected to the driver device (s) as a second state; and a third storage device configured to store the generated stem cells in the cryopreservation device (s) as a third state.
