The invention relates to a thermal apparatus (10) used for cooling a secondary fluid (FS) by means of a magnetocaloric thermal generator (1) connected to a thermal enclosure (11) by a heat exchanger (2) in which a heat exchange is carried out between a primary fluid (FP) circulating in said generator (1) and the secondary fluid (FS) circulating in said enclosure (11) between an injection fitting (12) via which the secondary fluid (FS) enters into the thermal enclosure (11) at a first temperature T1, and a suction fitting (13) via which the secondary fluid (FS) exits the thermal enclosure (11) at a second temperature T2, different from the first temperature T1. The suction fitting (13) is arranged inside the thermal enclosure (11) in a collection area (ZP) in which the secondary fluid temperature (FS) is coldest in order to limit the temperature difference between the primary fluid (FP) and the secondary fluid (FS) entering said heat exchanger (2).
